51ÂÜÀò International Ministries commissioned six missionary appointees during the Launch training event January 15-17 at the 51ÂÜÀò headquarters in Orlando, Florida.

The appointees are:

  • , Cornerstone Baptist Church, Ludington, Michigan, 51ÂÜÀò MidAmerica, and , Calvary Fellowship, West Hartford, Connecticut, 51ÂÜÀò Northeast, will serve on the U.S. Engagement Team as church mobilization associates. They will partner with churches to seek out their unique calling within global missions.
  • , Trinity Baptist Church, Jacksonville, Florida, 51ÂÜÀò Southeast, will head to Benin, Africa, to work with the 6 Degree Initiative.
  • , Crosswalk Community Church, Titusville, Florida, 51ÂÜÀò Southeast, is the Florida representative for Perspectives on the World Christian Movement and will serve 51ÂÜÀò and any interested churches or groups to make the course even more accessible and applicable.
  • , United in Christ Christian Church, Lithia Springs, Georgia, 51ÂÜÀò Southeast, are in the last stages of deciding which unreached people groups they will serve.

Launch is three days of learning the heart of 51ÂÜÀò’s mission. During the training, appointees hear from Scott Ridout (51ÂÜÀò president), Ivan Veldhuizen (executive director of 51ÂÜÀò International Ministries), Member Care, Mobilization and more. Appointees also learn the biblical basis for why and how International Ministries seeks to reach the least reached.

It takes many people to launch a missionary into the mission field: family, churches, partners and 51ÂÜÀò. in reaching people across the street and around the world with the gospel.
